A Thousand Knives – Flow
Big Image – Right Feel Time
Z-GR! Radio favorite Big Image is back with their latest – they’ve been on the show several times – this is their sixth showing – their latest releases, including ‘Right Feel Time’ seem to be leaning into the electronic side of the electronic rock vibe and I’m not mad about it.
Nick Behnan – Do It Over
Detroit’s Nick Behnan has spent years moving between rock, funk, soul, and cinematic alternative music through projects like JIVA, The Infatuations, The Lows, and his own solo work. This track, Do It All Over, features Robert Myers ad leans into a groove-heavy hybrid sound that Detroit artists have always done well.
Sig And The Fire Pilots – All I Want
UK trio Sig And The Fire Pilots are new to the show and they’re bringing the goods with their 2026 release ‘All I want is You’ – I really like the band, they’ve got a rock reggae groove that’s pretty cool, though this track has a Modern Monster Magnet vibe – they’re worth checking out for sure.
Caligula – Bloodlines (Single Edit)
Australian electro-rock band Caligula originally formed in 1989 and they’ve toured with the likes of Depeche Mode and Pop Will Eat Themselves – technically they’re hard to classify as an emerging artist, but they did take a 20 year break before getting back together in 2017 – Bloodlines (Single Edit) arrived in 2026 as part of the band’s long-awaited return album Bloodlines, their first full-length release in over 25 years.
Scooter Scudieri – She is the Sun
Scooter Scudieri is another artist who is not really ‘emerging’, but he is pretty awesome – Scooter’s been carving out his own independent path for more than 30 years, and he has no interest in staying in one genre lane, which makes his library a lot of fun – he’s opened for Joan Jett and toured with Jewel. She is the Sun is off of his 2026 release ‘The Musical Bruises of a Recovering Dreamer’.
Keep Shelly In Athens – You
From Athens, Greece, Keep Shelly in Athens started as a dream-pop and chillwave project and over time they’ve evolved into a more collaborative, rotating electronic outfit. It’s been a minute since I had them on Episode 21 of the show, and they’ve been blowing things up – ‘You’ is a deep cut off of their 2023 album release ‘Among Wolves’.
Josie Pace – Pure Morning
Our cover this week is a Placebo track released in 1998 as the lead single off of their ‘Without You I’m Nothing’ album – the track charted at #4 ion the UK Singles chart and #19 on the US Modern Rock Tracks chart, and helped them become one of the defining UK alternative bands of the late 90s.
Detroit’s Josie Pace, who is a Z-GR! Radio favorite, takes the track to a darker, more industrial electronic edge — stripping it down and rebuilding it through her own synth-driven sound world. This is Josie’s sixth turn, and it is awesome.
Zero-G Racetrack – Slave To My Ego
Life is all about understanding ourselves and living with our self-inflicted highs and lows…Personally, I’ve think it’s best to not overthink things and to just go with what you know – conveniently, that’s the theme of ‘Slave to My Ego’, my band’s offering this week.

Giselle Lyon – She Was Someone Else
Giselle Lyon is an American singer-songwriter working in the modern indie-pop / alt-pop space – she’s got a limited social footprint, but has several 2026 releases, including ‘She Was Someone Else’ – I was immediately taken with this track’s lyrics and especially her delivery – she’s a haunting and effective storyteller and she’s really really great. I dig this track and I think you will too.
