Stockwerk – Now Or Never
Stockholm-based duo Stockwerk debuted on Episode 56 and are back on the show with this week’s opener – the duo consists of Amanda Bergman, a Swedish singer and songwriter, and Peter Winnberg, a multi-instrumentalist and producer. While the project remains relatively low-profile, it operates as a collaborative outlet for the pair’s work together outside of their other musical associations. I really like this band, and I really like this track.

Zero-G Racetrack – I Think You’re Beautiful – Radio Edit
I Think You’re Beautiful, by my band, Zero-G Racetrack, was released in 2022 and is a nod to the sophisticated cool of Duran Duran, the art-glam edge of Roxy Music, and the iconic electronic pulse of Giorgio Moroder. The track is not only our most popular, it is also certainly our most saxxy

The Scratch – Old Dog
Returning to the show from Episode 9 is The Scratch with 2025’s Old Dog, The Scratch are an Irish band from Dublin made up of Conor Dockery, Cathal Mac Gabhann, Daniel Lang, and Mark “Skippy” Loughran. The group formed out of the Dublin rock scene, originally building their identity around acoustic guitar work and percussion-driven arrangements before expanding into heavier, more hard rock–leaning material as their sound developed.
Melodicka Bros – Welcome to the Family
Our cover this week is Welcome to the Family, which was originally released by Avenged Sevenfold in October 2010 as the second single from their album Nightmare. The song was written by the band members alongside drummer The Rev and produced by Mike Elizondo. It became part of the album’s major commercial success, with Nightmare debuting at number one on the Billboard 200 and the single receiving strong support from rock radio. The track remained a key part of the band’s early 2010s touring cycle and live performances during that era.
Reimagining the track is Melodicka Bros an Italian production duo made up of Alessandro De Zorzi and Matteo Dal Rio, known for creating reinterpretations of existing songs by reshaping them into different genres and stylistic frameworks. Their version of Welcome to the Family continues that approach, reworking the original composition through their signature production-driven transformation style while maintaining the core structure of the song. It’s really, really great.
