Hallucinophonics – Run Run Run
Opening the show this week with their latest, Run Run Run is Hallucinophonics a London-based modern psychedelic and progressive rock project led by Alexey Belenkiy – I absolutely love this project – great sound, great lyrics and a great way to kick off the show.

Chloe Star – FMIF
Chloe Star makes her first appearance on the show with FMIF, released October 11, 2024 as a standalone single. The track was written by Chloe Star and Matilda Cole, and while this isn’t confirmed – the acronym, FMIF seems to reference banging your favorite famous person.
Vera Bloom – Eyes On You
Vera Bloom is a Nashville singer-songwriter by way of Seattle, and appears on the show for a second time with Eyes On You, the opener from her 2023 EP ‘It’s Me’ – I really like this track – I’d describe it as punk with polish and it’s a lot of fun.

Cyrille – You’re So Unreal
Kiirsten Marilyn – I’m Afraid of Americans
Our cover this week is another Bowie track, and it’s an interesting one for a few reasons – the song was first recorded in 1995 for his ‘Outside’ album, but it was included later on his 1997 release Earthling. Written with Brian Eno, the song did not chart on the US Billboard Hot 100, but it did well on the Alternative airplay charts before Trent Reznor got a hold of – his Nine Inch Nails Remix blew the song up and even today, the track is often thought to be a collaboration between the two artists.
Kiirsten Marilyn 2024 cover is notable for referencing multiple official David Bowie versions of the track, but focusing on the Outside sessions and Earthling release era, both of which featured different arrangements and production approaches as the song evolved through the mid-to-late 1990s.

Bobbie Dazzle – Revolution
Bobbie Dazzle, AKA UK-based artist Olivia Jean, appears for the first time on the show with Revolution, off of her 2024 album, Fandibozi. I absolutely dig her whole vibe, from the glam rock presentation to the sound that mashes up classic rock with punk sensibilities – this a fantastic track and she’s one of my favorite new artists to feature on the show.

Frenchy and the Punk – War on War
Frenchy and the Punk, the New York–based duo of Samara Lark and Scott Helland, are known for operating as a two-piece project built around percussion, guitar, and vocal performance, releasing music independently and maintaining a consistent DIY touring and recording approach.
This is a fantastic introduction to their sound – they’ve got a Sisters of Mercy meets Souixie Sioux thing going on and I am way into it – The duo operate as a two-piece project built around guitar, percussion, and vocal performance, releasing music independently and maintaining a consistent DIY recording and touring approach. Catch them if you have the chance.
Alice Anarchy – Party For the Beautifully Irresponsible
Zero-G Racetrack – Sexy Pretty Thing
Full disclosure – I’m Zero-G Racetrack’s singer/lyricist, so I have some insights into our song ‘Sexy Pretty Thing’. Bill Williams, the better half of Z-GR! had the idea to re-imagine a post-punk short and sweet power guitar track as an Electronic Rock song. For the vocal, I was looking to create a big, fat, memorable hook that was pure, stupid sexy Rock and Roll fun while keeping my tongue planted firmly in my cheek. Consider that box checked.

Racing – Ooh Yeah
Auckland- based Racing is back on the show for a seventh time with the very awesome, ‘Ooh Yeah’ – for the uninitiated, their debut record ‘Real Dancing’ was nominated for Best Rock Artist at the 2019 Vodafone New Zealand and they are one of my favorite Z-GR! Radio artists.

Dan Sindel – America! America!
Our newest Z-GR! Radio featured artist is LA’s Dan Sindel, who is on the show with his latest track ‘America! America!’ which came about by throwing a beloved American Anthem in a bottle, shaking it up and then playing his souped up custom garage sale Ibanez over the top. How do I know all this? Well, I sat down with Dan for a conversation about the track, his guitars and they sounds they make along with a few other topics for a NEWHD Take 5 session. The link is below, so take some minutes and check it out.
Low Indigos – Last Night I Had A Dream
Low Indigos is an independent Los Angeles-based indie pop project credited to Alexander Abel McSurely-Bradshaw and Abel Bradshaw – they have a wildly diverse sound, which is really cool and while I was looking for our closer for this week, I happened to check in on their latest – I’m glad I did.
Z-GR! Radio promotes artists through curated music and non-exclusive airplay, respecting rights while supporting exposure, audience growth, and long-term visibility.
