Song #9
Peter Gabriel’s Digging in the Dirt is a song from his 1992 album Us, released as a single in 1992. It remains one of Gabriel’s most memorable tracks for its combination of introspective lyrics, innovative production, and visually striking video work. The song reached #52 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and has become an enduring hit on alternative and rock charts.
Covering the track is Tufts Beelzebubs a long‑running collegiate a cappella group from Medford, Massachusetts (Tufts University) that formed in 1962, known for performing and recording vocal arrangements of pop, rock, and R&B songs with tight harmonies and energetic arrangements. Very, very cool take on a great track.
