Bisou Noir – The Boys
Bisou Noir is a four-piece alternative/indie rock group formed in London by Toby Spysznyk (vocals), Milo Burgess (lead guitar. The band formed after Spysznyk and Burgess met while working as film extras and later teamed up with childhood friendsJake Tullett and Mikey Laws. The band debuted on Episode 46, but I’ve been a fan for a few years now, and it started with their 2023 release ‘The Boys’.
Kabüki – Art
London’s Kabuki or The Kabuki Show formed in 2020, but they just caught my ear recently – Their style mixes Western rock influences with Asian theatrical imagery which explains the band member’s names – The Marquis fronts on vocal, Djal brings the guitars and the aptly named Bang Bang is their drummer. The band self-describes as “a unique, bilingual band from London that blends Hard Rock, Pop Punk and Emo Rock music with Japanese theatre visuals, finished off with a touch of pink.
Entitled Sons – Pretty Please
The Entitled Sons are back on the show with their 5th appearance and fourth track – the band is really taking off and it is completely justified – made up of four brothers and their Dad on bass, the band is definitely a family affair and as a bonus their music is fantastic – ‘Pretty Please’ dropped last summer, and is just as great as the rest of their tracks.
Zero-G Racetrack – Slave To My Ego
As Zero-G Racetrack’s vocalist, I’ll admit that have a soft spot for this track – I wrote the vocal as I was transitioning out of a long-term relationship, and realized that I had boxed up several things that I liked about myself to accommodate the relationship, so of course I wrote a song about it – The track is about self-realization within the context of a personal reboot, and making sure that you don’t go sideways during the renovation.

Beautiful Machines – Control (Edit)
Beautiful Machines has roots between San Francisco and Germany and performs internationally, blending live and electronic elements into immersive shows. I’ve been into their cinematic synthwave, synth‑pop sound for a while now – control was first heard on Z-GR! Radio on Episode 28 and it’s awesome, so I put it on again.
CZARINA – Empire
C Z A R I N A is American-born, New York City–raised Vero Faye Kitsuné, a recognized thought leader in the darkwave/synthwave/electronic goth scene – she debuted on the show on Episode 54, and I thought it’s be a good time to bring her back for Episode 75 – Empire is certainly one of the most epic tracks I’ve had on Z-GR! Radio, and is always worth playing again.

Echo Vector X – Time
Our cover this week is a 1974 release that is featured on perhaps the best known album ever released, Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon. While the album spent hundreds of non-consecutive weeks on the Billboard 200, ‘Time’ did not chart even though it was released as a single with ‘Us and Them’ on the flip side.
Doing the honors are Echo Vector X a retro‑futuristic synthwave/synthpop duo – Erik Nielson is in Oxford and James McDonough is in Rhode Island and despite the distance they’ve delivered a fantastic cover of Pink Floyd’s ‘Time’.

Orange County Death March – Dark Empath
OC favorite Orange County Death March is an electro-rock band based in Los Angeles – they were an Episode 1 artist on Z-GR ! Radio and I’ve had them on the show several times since – I’ve been a fan since 2022 and they have a ton of great tracks for this go around, I’m bring their latest – 2025’s Dark Empath, a joint with featured vocalist Emi Kohatsu.
Harry Muffs Disco – I’m Waiting for You To Be with Me
Harry Ostrem is Harry Muffs Disco, and his stuff is Awesome. He self describes as Comedic Funk Disco, and frankly I don’t care what he calls himself – his tracks sound great and are well worth checking out, starting with ‘I’m Waiting For You to Be With Me’.
Crewless – How Long
For their third appearance and third track featured on the show, I took the opportunity to go through the library of Salt Lake City’s Crewless and remembered why I like them so much – ‘How Long’ appears as a supporting track on their last two releases, but I think it’s one of their best tracks.
Bunch of Others – I Am Not Scared
British Columbia’s Bunch of Others was formed by Jeff Tubbs, who created the band after the loss of his brother Kyle. Working with musicians from Kyle’s musical circle, Tubbs developed the project into a collaborative band with a psychedelic and alternative rock sound that is really cool- ‘I Am Not Scared’ was the first track written for the project and captures the emotional investment of the band members.
Astral Magic – Suspended Animation
Astral Magic is the Finland-based psychedelic electronic and space-rock solo project led by Santtu Laakso. I absolutely love the vibe of his material, he has a ton of really cool tracks and I decided that ‘Suspended Animation’ would close us out this week.
