Peter Wilson – Confidence – Radio Mix
Australian singer-songwriter Peter Wilson is known for his range – first for his Eurodance and synthpop tracks, but he does a pretty good job in the Hard Rock genre as well. For this week’s opener, I’m bringing his latest, a 1980s-inspired synth-pop track called ‘Confidence’

Benjamin Koll – Running In The Night
“Running in the Night” is a standout piece from Mexican artist Benjamin Koll’s 2020 album All Systems Go. Benjamin mixes disco, funk, and emotional vibes with a heavy dose of LGBTQ+ pride – He spent some time on the 80’s DJ circuit and opened his studio and started his personal music project in 2015.
Theramyn_4 – Empire
Theramyn_4 just might be the only Z-GR! Radio artist from Peru, but the band, led José Gallo, is fantastic. “Empire” is featured on Theremyn_4’s 2015 album The Next Wave, which showcases the project’s evolution towards a more synth-driven and cinematic sound.

Mark Pistel / Rykarda Parasol – All Fall Down – Radio Edit
Consolidated veteran and San Francisco native Mark Pistel teams with vocalist Rykarda Parasol for All Fall Down, a moody, synth-laced gem that leans hard into the darkwave, techno, and synthwave vibes that Pistel is so well known for.

Beyond Obsession – I Can’t Tell
Beyond Obsession is a German synthpop band formed in 2012, known for their catchy 1980s-inspired electronic sound blending synthpop, EBM, and electro-pop. “I Can’t Tell” is a late-2023 release from their Kings of Ashes album. It’s a great track off of a great record.
3-Point Landing – Gleaming Eyes
The Netherlands’ 3 Point Landing has garnered recognition in the Dutch music scene, winning the Popmania band contest in 2018 and the Mixtream Contest. They were also runners-up at the 2022 Rob Acda Award, and by all accounts can tear up a stage pretty good – 2023’s ‘Gleaming Eyes’ is their latest, and is fantastic – hoping to get some new material from them soon.
Shark Puppy – Hard Times
This may be one of the most interesting tracks to feature on Z-GR! Radio – Shark Puppy is a fictional band inspired by Stephen King’s It Universe, and ‘Hard TImes’ is part of a growing collection of creative fan music that imagines the characters of the book forming a band and writing original songs. Written by Jennie Willoughby and Renn Anderson, the track has a cool ‘80’s vibe and is pretty awesome.
Gretta Ziller – Damage Done
Australian classically trained singer-songwriter Gretta Ziller co-wrote 52 songs in 52 weeks for the ‘Long & Writing Road’ project in 2024, but I reached back to 2021’s Judas Tree for “Damage Done” the fourth and my favorite track from the album.

Battleflagg – Masters of War
Bob Dylan’s “Masters of War” is not about peace and love; it’s about justice and accountability. Released in 1963, the track is one of his angriest and most direct songs, taking direct and unabashed aim at the people who profit from war while never facing its consequences themselves. Battleflagg’s folk-punk take on the track infuses the original’s defiant spirit with punk-tinged guitars and a raw vocal that definitely honors Dylan’s distinctive tone.
Zero-G Racetrack – I Remember
‘I Remember’ is Zero-G Racetrack’s ninth single and the closest they’ve come to a ballad – the track dark merges synthpop, cyberpunk, and electronic alt-rock and explores the notion that every relationship has positives worth remembering regardless of how things end.

Bite The Bullet – I’ll Be Fine If You Feel Okay
Copenhagen’s Bite The Bullet is a trio made up of Thomas Storgaard Christiansen , Christian Norup, and Paw Eriksen – their sound lands somewhere between garage rock and dance, and this track caught my ear with a solid and catchy vocal riding on a solid 4 on the floor beat. They have a reputation for high-energy live shows and their latest EP The Last Rave is worth a spin for sure.
Stray Pursuit – Mess With My Head
Swansea’s The Stray Pursuit is back on the show for the 6th time with their latest ‘Mess With My Head’. The track digs into the complexities of young love and mental health struggles. The track was recorded at Longwave Studios in Cardiff with producer Romesh Dodangoda and certainly maintains the frenetic energy that first caught my ear way back on Episode 4.
Olive Dares the Darkness – Not My Fault
Olive Dares the Darkness is a Charleston-based band known for their unique blend of darkwave, industrial rock, and new wave influences. I first came across the band back in 2022 – they were an Episode One Z-GR! Radio artist and they also have a radio show called the Oddcast on SLE Radio, where they’ve featured my band, Zero-G Racetrack, a few times. I really dig their sound and I think you will too – ‘Not My Fault’ is off of their second and very awesome full-length record titled, appropriately, 2.

Andy Carhart – Fleeting Sky
Colorado-based multi-instrumentalist and Z-GR! Radio favorite Andy Carhart closes this week out with his outstanding instrumental ‘Falling Skies’ off of his 2016 record ‘Circular’. Andy and I sat down for a NEWHD Take 5 interview last year which was really cool so head to newhdradio.com/andy and take a listen.
