Z-GR! Radio overview right from your Host:
Have fun with the list below, enjoy the artists/music and…
Sweden’s April Snow, AKA Irya Gmeyner has teamed with Singer/Songwriter/Actor Sharlene Hector for this week’s opener – to tell the truth, neither artists needs my help to get the word out, but once ‘Alive on the Dance Floor’ hit my ears, I knew I wanted to share it far and wide.

As soon as I heard the UK artist Tin Gun’s 2021 track ‘Devils & Angels’ I knew that I wanted the track on the show, and the only real question became which version to go with. The Director’s Cut is really great, but the outstanding Psykelektric Remix won out.

Minneapolis’ Step Rockets hit the ground running in 2016 with a single that has, to date, garnered over 12 million streams with another 2 million on the remix. That single has lifted the rest of their catalog and ‘Astronomic’ is a deep cut from their 2022 extended version of the debut EP Future Nature.
Pink Cliffs is the UK’s Si Miller, who self-describes as Psych Pop and it’s definitely worth spinning through his library. This is one of those songs that grabs at the jump and gets better as it goes, and by the time it hits the guitar solo, I was fully on board.

Episode 17’s Auckland- based Racing is back on the show this week with their latest release ‘Ooh Yeah’ – for the uninitiated, their debut record ‘Real Dancing’ was nominated for Best Rock Artist at the 2019 Vodafone New Zealand and they are one of my favorite Z-GR! Radio artists.

I came across Sweet Tempest in 2022, and while they had some stream traffic then, it’s nothing like what they’ve got going on now. I was pleasantly surprised a few months back when I stumbled across and recognized a cover version of ‘Mine’, and once you hear the song, and the rest of Sweet Tempests’ library, it’s easy to hear why they’re well over a million streams on a few of their tracks.

London’s Beautiful Machines appeared in Episode 4 and they self-describe as ‘Cinematic Electronic Synthwave Rock’, and I think they’re spot on. Originally from San Francisco, they just dropped a new album, which inclused the excellent ‘Control’, but this time around, I’m reaching way back to 2015 for ‘Real Love’.
I came across Danz CM’s ’Fuzz’ back in 2021 and it’s been fun watching her library and stream count grow – It’s safe to say that we’re big Danz CM / Computer Magic fans here at Z-GR! Radio, so it tracks that her cover of No Doubt’s 1995 ‘Don’t Speak’ is awesomely awesome.
