Z-GR! Radio overview right from your Host:
Have fun with the list below, enjoy the artists/music and…
Unify Separate is a duo of Scottish singer Andrew Montgomery and luminary of Sweden’s legendary synth culture, Leo Josefsson. This is their second turn on the show – they were on Episode 7 and they’re back with a very cool track that’s been remixed by Cornwall’s Rob Overseer, who goes by the moniker ‘Fatlantic’.

Los Angeles DJ/Songwriter Corbin Dooley’s ‘Feels Like’ caught my ear initially with that really great opening bass line, but the more I listen to the song, the more I dig the overall vibe of the track, and that chorus really stays with you. Good stuff.

UK artist Rogue FX AKA Andrew Wood was our guest artist here on Z-GR! Radio for Episode 16, it was awesome – and his latest release is fantastic – it’s a joint with Scottish singer Kirsty Dewar, who brings a great vocal to the song.

I’ve had New York City’s NoShows, aka Max Satow on radar for a while now, and his stream count just keeps going up – he’s well regarded in the NYC live circuit, and has been working with Grammy Winning producer Mark Swersky. Of note as well is that Satow has created a mental health hub called Magnify the Mind, a community whose mission is to educate and advocate for those who need emotional support.
I first started following London based I Am Boleyn back in early 2022; she’s part of the amazing Aztec Records artist line-up, and she just keeps releasing great track after great track – honestly, it’s amazing that I’m just now putting her on the show.
‘Long Road Into The Night’ is a joint between Z-GR! Radio newcomer Dualarity, who has worked with several of the most recognizable synthwave names including Turbo Knight, Syntronix, Dimi Kaye and their partner on this track, Edictum, who was on the show way back in Episode 2. Dualarity is out of Devon in the UK and is yet another fantastic Aztec Record artist.

Germany’s Plexiphones have the fun distinction of having opened for the likes of Alphaville, ZZ Top and Heaven 17 – I’m a sucker for vintage analogue synthesizers playing with rock guitars over a dance beat, and ‘Help Me’ is just that. Great track!
That was ‘Nothing to Fear’ by Pendants – unfortunately, the band seems to have broken up around the start of the pandemic, but as you can hear, they really had a great sound and I’d love to hear more from them.
