The Britpop Show
Bob Stei has always wanted to be British, since he heard his first Smiths record in the mid 1980s! Combine his love of British music, telly and film with an unforgettable holiday to the UK in the 1990s, and the result is The Britpop Show! For two hours every week, we visit the jolly United Kingdom playing 1990s British Alternative, 1980s New Wave and beyond. Core artists include Blur, Oasis, Pulp, David Bowie, Garbage, The Cure and everything else that makes you feel sad and want to dance! Once an hour we hear a Smiths or Morrissey song during “Mandatory Morrissey,” and we also hear a classic that Scottish producer and co-host Rob Lee heard growing up across the pond! Spend two hours across the pond without the lousy food. Cheerio!
