Freddie Mercury’s Mr. Bad Guy: Impact on Queen and His Legacy
Doug Doescher
Doug Doescher is the host of The Not So Funny Morning Show, heard weekdays from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. on NEWHD New York, Where Rock Lives. Known as the Ambassador of Rock, Doug brings unmatched depth to the history of rock music, telling the stories behind the songs and giving each track new life. He is not funny, and proudly so, but every now and then he will deliver an unexpected quip that catches you off guard and makes you laugh aloud.
Doug’s passion for radio began in the 1970s while listening to the legendary broadcasters of WABC-AM. He launched his own career at Ithaca College’s WICB-FM, later making his mark on stations across the Northeast, including Westchester’s 107.1 FM. His milestone moment arrived at WNEW-FM, where he worked alongside his heroes Pat St. John and Scott Muni. With a true rock and roll heart, Doug guides listeners into each day with insight, warmth, and great music.
